Why does the company choose to offer employees a Health Check?

As part of a health promotion effort, individual health checks are a method chosen by more and more Danish companies. The reason for choosing a Health Check is typically presented by the company’s HR and / or work safety organization. The purpose is usually a combination of the company’s need for an attractive profile, combined with sickness absence reduction and the employees’ desire for health promotion as part of the employment.

AG Sundhedsfremme’s mission is to offer employees individual rxaminations that can increase the health and well-being of the individual, as well as at the collective level to allow the company to effectively and effeciently prevent illness and promote health at the company.

A health check can be put together in many ways – depending on your employee profile, interests, relevant legislation and time per client.
The health checkers have an online questionnaire (one especially for employees with Night/Shift work) which uncovers behaviour and lifestyle. As part of a strategic effort, this is an essential element of the impact measurement.

We can measure the following parameters;

• Height and Weight,
• Blood pressure and heart rate,
• Body composition, fat percentage, muscle and bone mass,
• Cholesterol and HDL (Index calculation) v/ blood test
• Lung function
• Blood sugar
• Hemoglobin
• Condital (at rest)
• Hip/Waist measure

Note: It is of course possible for the client to opt out of one or more of the parameters during the check itself.
